EIA: Russia’s oil, oil product exports to US fall 7.2% in July

MOSCOW, Oct 1 (PRIME) -- Russia’s exports of oil and oil products to the U.S. fell by 7.2% on the month to 23.595 million barrels in July, dropping one notch to become the third largest exporter as seen by PRIME late on Thursday in the materials of the Energy Information Administration (EIA).

Canada ranked first with exports falling by 5.9% to 129.478 million barrels, while Mexico ranked second with exports growing to 26.381 million barrels from 23.654 million barrels.

In the supplies of crude, Russia ranked fourth with exports growing 3.3% on the month to 8.748 million barrels in July. Top-3 exporters of crude to the U.S. were Canada with the supplies falling by 5.6% to 113.783 million barrels, Mexico with the supplies growing by 1.8% to 20.799 million barrels, and Saudi Arabia with exports falling by 19.9% to 10.476 million barrels.
